We are currently soliciting applications and resumes for upcoming productions for set designer, set construction, performance musicians, stage manager, and assistant costumer. All positions are paid.
The ideal candidate(s) will be able to adhere to a timeline, think abstractly, be self-motivated and directed, and have excellent communication skills. Please send a cover letter and resume to Beverly Houck.
If applying for set design, please include images of your previous work and notate which elements you were responsible for creating. Please note, upcoming productions include touring shows, outdoor productions, and an indoor proscenium theater space.

Volunteers – We are always looking for volunteers. For mailings, summer camps, front of house (productions), and many other areas. If you are a student who needs community service hours or someone who can donate time, please call us. Your help is greatly appreciated! Teaching – Teaching artist resumes are accepted on an ongoing basis in all disciplines. Please contact Susan Rohn, Executive Director with your interest. All teachers must have PA Child Abuse, Criminal History clearances, and FBI background checks to qualify for any of these positions.

Summer Camp – Aides to assist in the daily running of summer camp can apply by contacting Samantha Clarke. Many of the teaching positions are filled by year-round teaching artists, however resumes and applications are welcomed and will be reviewed. All teachers must have PA Child Abuse, Criminal History clearances, and FBI background checks to qualify for any of these programs. Outreach Programs – The Yocum Institute offers multi-discipline programs at offsite locations. The majority of these occur during school hours and/or immediately after school. The positions are part-time. Neighborhood Bridges requires a training/co-teaching period. All teachers must have PA Child Abuse, Criminal History clearances, and FBI background checks to qualify for any of these programs. Theater Opportunities – Ongoing applications for actors, set designers, stage managers, and directors are accepted. Please send your headshot & resume (as applicable) to Beverly Houck. Most positions receive a small stipend, at minimum.
