Visions of Sugarplums is an exciting new work that tells a magical holiday story through traditional theater, music, and dance. The title is an intentional nod to both The Nutcracker and Twas the Night Before Christmas.  A delightful story, magic, movement, and music are sure to delight the family audience and be the perfect start for the holiday season.

“Sometimes mistakes make the most magical things happen”

It started like any other holiday weekend, a cousins sleepover at Grandma’s house filled with noise, teasing and laughter. One of the children, trying to find the WiFi password late at night, accidentally breaks open the special candy box. The gift, as legend says, was given to Great Great Great Great Grandmother Clara by the Sugarplum Fairy itself. The candies spill out onto the floor and magically spring to life. The Sugarplum Fairy and her “not always helpful” friends, Spearmint and Peppermint join the children as they are transported into another world filled with magic and dance.
