Established in 2006, the Coggins Award recognizes artists who embrace the values Jack Coggins exhibited: creativity, innovation, and service to the Intitute and the community. The receipent is chosen from nominations submitted by members of the artistic community.
This year, The Coggins Award will be presented to Regina Miller. Regina (Ginger) Gouger Miller is an artist and educator. She graduated from the Carnegie Mellon School of Art and Kutztown University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and a member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Club. In 1984, Ms. Miller created Ginger & Spice, a company that continues to produce award-winning needlework designs.
A ceremony honoring Ms. Miller and her work will be held on Tuesday, November 7 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at the Stirling Guest Hotel.
