There will be 3 performances Thanksgiving Weekend
Saturday, November 25th and Sunday, November 26th
About the Audition:
Everyone you must be at least 8 years old at the time of the audition to be considered for dance roles. Speaking roles: 1 M/F age 50+, 1 M, 1 F age 25+, 5 M/F age range 8-18
Dancers, come in appropriate dance attire and footwear. Schedule for 6/3:
- ALL Sign in: 9:15-9:30
- Ballet, Pointe, Modern Warm-up: 9:30-10:15
- Ballet: 10:15-10:45
- Pointe: 10:45-11:05
- Modern: 11:05-11:20
- Warm Up Jazz, Hip Hop, Salsa, and Tap: 11:20-11:35
- Jazz: 11:35-11:50
- Hip Hop: 11:50-12:05
- Salsa: 12:05-12:20
- Tap: 12:20-12:30
Speaking Roles, please dress to move easily and be familiar with Clement Moore’s “Twas the Night Before Christmas” poem.
BEFORE YOU AUDITION, PLEASE NOTE: Rehearsals will begin no later than early September. Dance rehearsals will primarily be held Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Speaking roles will be on Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings (there will – of course – be some overlap.
Mandatory rehearsals will be held the week of November 19th
Tentative schedule: Saturday 9:00 am – 3:00pm, Sunday 1:00 – 6:00pm
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 5:30-9:00pm
Thanksgiving Day OFF
Friday November 24th 10am – 6pm
